to any medicine is possible, it
is rare with Botox.
How long does Botox last?
This varies upon where you go,
but we at Artemis Laser and Vein
find that our patients do not
begin to see the wrinkles
reappear for as long as six to
eight months after the
injections, however the
injections can be easily
repeated whenever needed.
Is Botox Cosmetic
expensive?
When considering your facial
aesthetic options, Botox is
quite affordable. Like other
appearance-related investments,
such as hair coloring and cuts,
teeth whitening, and chemical
peels, the cost must be weighed

The whole procedure takes less
than 30 minutes. Pain relief is
usually not needed, but many

anesthetic cream about 30
minutes before the injections.
Lip enhancement is preceded by
an anesthetic block for upper
and lower lips so the treatment
is painless.
How long can I expect my
beautiful new appearance to
last?
Maintenance treatment is not
usually required for
approximately 8 months. A
touch-up can be performed any
time you like after the previous
treatment.
How are Restylane and Perlane different
from Botox?
Restylane and Perlane are natural, wrinkle
fillers. In contrast, Botox is a

transmission and relaxes the
underlying muscles. Many

What is the difference
between Perlane and Restylane?
The major difference is that
Perlane is a large molecule
compared to Restylane, because

be used to treat the finer lines
in fair skinned people
